The horn shaped vegetable usually orange in color is the Carrot.

Love Carrots.

Carrots are a goldmine of nutrients including carotene. I love to take a fresh carrot from the garden, wash it and eat it raw. It’s a delicious treat. The sweetness of carrots allows the vegetable to be used in some fruit -like roles. Grated carrots are used in carrot cakes  [my favorite] and puddings.

Yes, Carrots are good for your eyes.
Have you ever seen rabbits wearing glasses said dad with a grin. ☺

I often receive recipes including recipes using carrots courtesy of Chef Mr. C.

‘Courtesy’ wow that’s a cool word. Courtesy is the excellence of manners or social conduct; polite behavior.
If you are gracious and courteous to strangers surely you are laying a wonderful character foundation..

Courtesy is a form of respect, and being considerate of people’s feelings, culture within reason, and values.
 • IF trying to help don’t overdue to the point of being pushy.
• Be aware of where you are; what is acceptable.
• Don’t leave someone with a soap pad in their mouth. You never know you might see them again.
• It’s nice to Be Nice.
• Don’t hog the conversation; ask questions about others in the room.
• A laugh, a handshake, a giggle is good so don’t panic.
• Don’t be anxious of etiquette & courtesies in greetings, conversation, eating but don’t be something you’re not. You don’t have to get weird.
• Hold a door. Help Clean Up. This has nothing to do with gender but kindness.
• Use of Thank you and You’re Welcome.
• Speaking softly.
• Waiting for a turn.
• Interrupting in a mannerly fashion.
• Letting someone pass.
• Giving someone your seat.
• Keeping appointments or calling to cancel.
• Pull your pants up.
• To be good at it you must practice.

We are in the midst of a super-efficient era, pressured business, a more direct-oriented society. The world is becoming demanding and rude. Unfortunately it has infiltrated business, church and home and affects human interaction.

We don’t have to be Courtesy Robots but I think it’s a good practice. Whether children are courteous or not, hug them.

Eat Your Carrots and Continue in Your Courteous Way!

Courtesy, a Smile, a Hug makes a smoother Day!

Quote I am pondering today!

“Nothing is ever lost by courtesy. It is the cheapest of the pleasures costs nothing and conveys much. It pleases him who gives and him who receives, and thus, like mercy, it is twice blessed.” Erastus Wiman
