Sweetness is a word that is hard to describe. It’s a pleasurable, rich, aromatic experience.

I would encourage you to  let your words be sweet to hear, sweet to taste, sweet to swallow and sweet to remember.

The more we live a life of perfection, yes perfection, as life comes to us not past nor future but now; one with joy in the midst of hardship, hope that is living, one of peace; the more we will learn to be sweet. Phew long sentence but necessary.

I hope you see the sweetness in life.

Here are a few things [in no specific order] to help you make sure your life is filled with sweetness.

  • Be Sweet in your language; don’t be vulgar
  • Be cheerful; try not to have too many pity parties
  • Be courteous to the point you will ask people how they are doing and mean it
  • Be grateful  in all things
  • Be humble you aren’t better than another individual
  • Be loving
  • Be self aware
  • Be sensible
  • Be trustworthy
  • Be a good listener less talk
  • Be respectful and treat people as you wish to be treated

My wish for you today; Stay Sweet!

How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

“Behave so the aroma of your actions may enhance the general sweetness of the atmosphere.”  Henry David Thoreau

“Gratitude is the sweetest thing in a seeker’s life- in all human life. If there is gratitude in your heart, then there will be tremendous sweetness in your eyes.”  Sri Chinmoy, The Jewels of Happiness: Inspiration and Wisdom to Guide Your Life Journey

As we become purer channels for God’s light, we develop an appetite for the sweetness that is possible in this world.  A miracle worker is not geared toward fighting the world that is, but toward creating the world that could be.  Marianne Williamson
