Have you been Out looking for HOPE?

Spring Robin1

Over the past several weeks and months our family has endured tremendous amounts of stress, disappointment, sickness and trials.
Watching the changes of the weather back and forth wondering when spring will come.
One thing I am sure off Spring WILL Come.
Nature has a way of reminding us that there is hope.

So if you are having a difficult time today go outside for a walk and look for hope. Look for HOPE in nature. See what you can find.
I have always had a fascination for Nature.
On your nature walk did you hear a robin sing, a flower growing up through concrete, a vine clinging to an abandoned building.
It is so hopeful!

Here is my poem entitled Finding ‘Hope”

Finding ‘Hope’

Do you think
 life sucks, stinks, phoey
woe is me
downcast
hope lost
trials and tribulations
got you down
life filled with sorrow
no way out,
don’t give up
go for a walk
look for ‘hope’
put on your cardigan
close the door
see you later,
a luminous welcome
sun, splashed its rays around
fluffy clouds
with a mighty statement
robins singing
joy oh joy
 spring is a comin,
 roundin the turn
on the ragged path
 hear tinklin trickling stream
 singin in unison
with the wind
and angels wings,
thanks to ancient rain
brought life and hope
never
underestimate
lucid liquid gold of water,
 i believe there’s a ity bity bug
on that there tree
a bulrush
made it through winter
appeared out
of nowhere a single butterfly,
 kicking the blassy bough
revealed another baby tree
junior rabbit
crossed my path
with a wiggle
come and play,
the sounds of nature
a gentle musical
opus
as wind bows to kiss
my cheek
with a whisper
‘hope’
suddenly
the roar of the waterfall
 good -news nature choir,
further on
daffodil takes a peek
crocus arrived with a grin
cute baby critters
everywhere,
 as sure as shootin
spring follows winter
 ‘hope’ is comin
 nature prepin
for spring,
look to nature
find ‘hope’
so the journey
through the woods
not in vain
know how
 blessed i am,
 nature-
creator’s garden
filled with ‘hope’
and life
the heavens our canopy,
the creator
exchanged
the
cloak
of
despair
to
‘Hope’
Made
My
Day….

World Poetry Day is on 21 March, and was declared by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 1999.

The purpose of the day is to promote the reading, writing, publishing and teaching of poetry throughout the world.

Here is my most Recent Poem.

Some say this is it

i say

someday

eternal,

i accept the promise

from the creator

the divine,

bathing in segments

of the heavenlies

day by day

but someday

release mortality

like a shredded garment,

leaning into life

but someday

mortality

takes on immortality,

stepping stones of life

health to sickness

but someday

victory in face of death,

invisible qualities of heaven

reside in my inner sanctum

often kisses eternity

the twinkle in my eye

anticipate partaking

the illumination of the glory,

someday i shall embrace

eternity….©

Just before Christmas I ordered the Plum Tree Books New Poem Card Collection.

Card Collection!

♫ ♪  ♫  ♫  ♫ ☼ ♪

To back up a little I joined a very intellectual, intelligent, artistic group of musicians, poets, artist, writers, authors, editors, publishers, producers the whole gamut. Now Imagine my surprise, I; yes me; was accepted into this elite group of people from all parts of the world called The Plum Tree.

It is amazing, humbling, stretching, out of the box, out of the comfort zone group – Plum Tree.
Check out The  Plum Tree  website to get a picture of the the talent that is offered.

To order the Poem Card Collection here.
Niamh Clune is the founder of The Plum Tree/Books, an award-winning social entrepreneur, an environmental campaigner and a singer/songwriter.

Niamh Clune  of Plum Tree Books started a New Poem Card Collection for purchasing. On each card an artist within the group has their work displayed.

These cards come with attachable poems [written by Niamh Clune] and are unique! Some wonderful artists, including Marta Pelrine Bacon, Maria Antonietta Terrana, Cher Duncombe and Susie Bertie whose images captured and displayed talent. All of these ladies donated works to auction for the Song Of Sahel earlier in the year.

Imagine a copy of such fantastic artwork within my hands. I was so excited I did not want to let them go.

What does a person do when you cannot purchase original works of art?
I thought I would do a collage and order more cards to give to friends, family, neighbors and people for birthdays, thank you’s and celebrations.

I did not do my traditional retro style of collage. I was a little more reserved because I wanted the artwork to remain mostly intact so my collage was a little conservative.
