Living life
to the fullest doesn’t mean without regulations, boundaries or some honorable do’s and don’ts.

Come and serve.

When you serve you’ll discover that you don’t have it so bad after all.

You were born

No matter the past

Or circumstance your birth

Irrelevant, then-come-what-may

Your responsibility is to live it.

“We have this moment today”, Gloria Gaither penned these words, “We have this moment to hold in our hands and to touch, as it slips through our fingers like sands.” If we only have one life, if there is only one opportunity, and if we are to live our lives to the fullest, “HOW DO WE GO ABOUT IT?”

What is the primary purpose of an ink pen? The answer, of course, is to write. If you have a $20.00 gold emblem engraved pen that is out of ink [like the one I have]. It may be pretty to look at, but it is a failure as a pen; it is not fulfilling its purpose. It is useless. So what will you do when the time comes to sign your paycheck that you desperately need come payday, and this pen doesn’t work? You’ll bypass the nice looking gold pen, and use a $.20 Bic that works.

Sounds Simple but just as a pen has a primary purpose, every individual that God has created has a primary purpose.

Our lives will be without meaning – we’ll be failures – unless we find out what is our purpose … our reason for living. Facing the present means that we choose to live life as it comes to us day by day. Not in the past, not in the future, but right here and right now.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

Be patient and you will finally win, for a soft tongue can break hard bones.

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Great Quote:

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”   ― Eleanor Roosevelt

I love butter not margarine however more specifically I love Peanut Butter.

Love the feel of the peanut butter even when it’s in the roof of my mouth; Never mind the absolute nutrition.

PEANUT BUTTER SPOON

I can eat spoonfuls of peanut butter but I don’t.  Remember “Meet Joe Black” the movie; Joe Black [Brad Pitt] a death angel comes to take William Parrish (Anthony Hopkins) but decided to stay awhile and tasted peanut butter for the first time.  Throughout the movie eats spoonful after spoonful.

Gone are the days of peanut butter and jam/jelly sandwiches to work, play or school. Warning! Warning! Can you not hear the robot from the movie “Lost in Space” flailing his arms Warning, Warning NO Peanut Butter here!

Peanut butter for me depicts the believe in the simple things at least to those who aren’t allergic. Certainly not simple for those who have a deathly allergic reaction…that’s a topic for another time.

‘Believe’ that’s a great word –
Aren’t you sick of people saying ‘that can’t be done’ and a million other like-sayings. Where is the word  ‘Believe‘ in these scenarios.

Believe in yourself and honestly believe anything is possible; doesn’t it just put a bounce in your toes?

Believe – Soundtrack for The Polar Express!

Believe in what you feel inside,
Give your dreams the wings to fly.
You have everything you need, if you just believe.

Believe in yourself; God does!

Hey there; You should realize that you have value and that you can make a difference in the world. God knows the number of the hairs on your head makes your value outstanding. If God values you then surely you should believe in that value thereby believing in yourself.  We are a priceless treasure, the object of God’s infinite love.

If you fail at something don’t blow a gasket, find out why, revisit and you’ll probably succeed. I’ve blown a gasket or two and it’s pointless, staying calm has a greater success rate of actual Success.

Nurture the ground on which you live first by giving to others, serving others, caring for others.

Don’t give up on your dreams.

There is more genius in you than you know – keep trying new things, venture out of your comfort zone and boy the talents, the treasures you will discover, so get out there and pursue excellence.

Believe you can live on the higher plain and welcome and chalk up the small successes. Believe in yourself and you will be able to achieve beyond your wildest imagination and expectation.  Now I’m not talking about the absurd…  I will never be an astronaut but some people can be.

I Truly Believe you will be pleasantly surprised.

KEEP BELIEVING

Quotes I am Pondering Today!

Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent.
Eleanor Roosevelt

The most important thing is God’s blessing and if you believe in God and you believe in yourself,
you have nothing to worry about.

Day 12 of my 30 Day Thankfulness Challenge; I am thankful for Water. 😀

I do appreciate the life giving qualities of water – H2O.
70 % of the earth is covered with water.

It may seem like a strange thing to be thankful for.  We here in Canada have water plenty.  WE take it for granted from rinsing of dishes before they are placed in the dishwasher to just stand in the shower pretending it’s a hot tub. Such plenty, we spray more water on flowers than some countries can provide for children.

On a normal day we do not have to worry about disease-ridden water.  We can drink as much as we desire.

Our children can go to a community pool and frolic in the water until there isn’t any dirt under their nails and their skin is wrinkled.

I love what can be done with water. It can be cold, boiled, steamed, or frozen.  It is pliable and nature can throw as much of it on you as it pleases.

Day 12 big-wave2 copy

I love the sound of water as it ripples in a stream pathway or waterfalls.  Outside of drinking water this is my favorite.  There are wealthy people today who have recorded the sounds of the movement of water and sold it as CD’s such as waterfalls, rain, ocean waves etc.

Pertinent Quotes:

A woman is like a tea bag – you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water. Eleanor Roosevelt

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.

“Cry. Forgive. Learn. Move on. Let your tears water the seeds of your future happiness.”  Steve Maraboli
