I’M HOPING TO HAVE FUN UNWRAPPING THE MYSTERY OF 2013!

my birthday gift

I will endeavor NOT to hurt the ones I love. Sometimes decisions do not have a blanket approval But I will do my best to honor the creator and honor you while maintaining an honorable self.

We have a memory together. They are not all perfect but a cherished memory nonetheless.

I am so blessed and happy in spite of the bumps in the road.

My Road is paved with roses and love.
I WILL TRY TO LIVE WITHOUT REGRETS.

Here is one of my poems from 2012

pearls
string of pearls

dark
it all came crashing down
under my feet the ground
gave way,
did i hear spurgeon’s voice
look! see
it’s a silvery strand of faith
akin to the strand by silver strand
woven by the spider
its spin of splenderous sheen,

faith feels for certain
what cannot be seen
such a splendid thing,

it’s the thread
upon which the pearls
of the grace are hung
it has always
held the graces not the voices
of vice and depravity,

graces of such pristine value
as dancers through the day
with graceful artistic expression
with elegant hand position
pirouette return to
finish in arabesque
strength and poise
of tip toe in ballet pointe
adagio the slow enfolding
artistic movements
spotting and spinning with
balance
such grace
how the magic flows,

far beyond such majesty
is the pearls upon the silver
strand of faith
graces of gemstone value
love, joy and peace
and the impact so rare of
patience, kindness
nacreous of goodness
refections of
gentleness and self control
and of course your
irridencence display
of faithfulness
when you
stand by me in spite
of time and trouble,

i know i’m truly blessed
because
you
graced me with your graces
in truest
rhapsody…©

Thank you for your giving into my life. Thank you for those who poured into my life.

I am grateful and I too think to myself what a wonderful world.

Louis Armstrong  Video…

I am grateful for the smiles of love.
I am so grateful I feel love, know love and I want to give it away.
Will you help me do this one thing?

Positive or Negative

why it’s the frown
a mighty negative down
multiple muscle use
spread it’s
negative even now
can you feel
it’s nasty supression

mirror neurons
spread its joy
with every smile
can’t you feel
such positive affect
every time
with great compassion
such love

set in stone
memories cannot change
but our future
not made known
so let’s make
it happen in every zone ©

WHAT IF THERE ARE DISAPPOINTMENTS?

Let’s not kid ourselves
We live in a non perfect world and we will have disappointments.

As much as it pleases God to bless you, there will be moments when everything you try goes up in smoke. There will be moments when the one you counted on most walks away and leaves you groping through blinding tears and wailing questions of why. Plans and goals can be circumvented by the most disappointing of times, leaving you learning the art of patience and the acceptance of a denied request. TD Jakes

May I express my gratitude that you are here right now.

Love, Love, Love…

Thanks for reading my bLoG!

I cannot go without mentioning one of the reasons why I am on this earth!

Stop Abuse! I want to see an end to Abuse!

Martina McBride – Concrete Angel Video

I hope that I can learn the art of marketing while promoting my book in grace because I genuinely believe it is worthwhile and helpful to those who suffer abuse, those who never suffered abuse, those who would like to educate themselves, and of course for those who may or may not have friends who suffer.

Day 22 of my recent 30 Day Thankfulness Challenge; I am thankful for love.  😀

On this day I am thankful for love and those that love me back and when love isn’t reciprocated; for those who don’t love me back.

I don’t think I’m that great that you gotta love me; Although the Bible says you gotta love me.  As well all that is good says you should   😀    It is easy to love those that love you and do good to you; welcomes you with open arms and screams with delight upon your arrival.

This world and life iS really a bouquet of roses. Beautiful it sure is with a delightful aroma.

You can also get pricked by the thorns.
Pricked on the stem of it’s beauty. On a deeper level there could be a festered heart wound. It’s indicative of relationships and can be a dichotomy of love and hate.

I will miss you more then I usually do.

Christmas magic dictates love, hugs, family atmosphere.
This Christmas there will be more loneliness for so many this year. I wonder if asking and giving forgiveness would have made the difference.

Love is such an enormous wonderful cloak of protection. What is it about Love that it Eradicates such pain and woe when mixed with forgiveness.

Love also means we are compassionate and truly have the ability to weep with those that weep, laugh with those that laugh. Love gives hope, strength and life.

Here is one of my poems on Love

love
is who i am
born to love
to give
born to live
in glory, honor
esteem and vitality,
fearfully
and wonderfully
made am i
this is the
portabellow of love

but then the giver
of earthly life
started with you
in love,
slowly
tainted the vision
of love i knew
became
sum of all tears

realization
true love and fragrance
of acceptance
nutured by god above
giver of purest love,
identity
not based on
your neglect
but on the giver
of life in me
select not
entrust my identity
with you
but creator
has made me perfect
to sit in heavenly places,
essence
with a grateful heart
I am secure
love who i am
now I can
love
you..…©

Day 9 of my recent 30 Day Thankfulness Challenge; I am thankful for #1 grandson #1 granddaughter and #2 granddaughter.

What would life be like without Gandchildren?

They are a major part of our life.  Pure Joy! Pure Love! An absolute delight to feel the warmth of our grandbaby inside our hug.

#1 Grandson – Loves cars, lightning mcqueen, Mader,  bad guys, Lego blocks, European Playmobil  toys, he loves orange and the song Beautiful.

He seems to be a thinker [great imagination] and loves his little sister. The only thing he likes to hug her too much.

He doesn’t like noise so how does a person who don’t like noise live in a family that is all noise. 😀

#1 Granddaughter – Loves books and growing to love dolls and all things girlie unless her big brother is playing with his cars and legos.

She like her personal space and is a happy smiley little girl. Loves to sing and dance.  Actually they both do.. I think she is leaning toward a certain color and loves Open the Eyes song.

Sweetest brother-sister duo and nanny loves them both.

#2 Granddaughter – has such an endearing personality. She loves her stuffed toys and babies.  Loves bubble guppies. Knows so many words and a very smart little girl. Trying to talk in complete sentence is a delightful babbling brook.  Such a sweet petite little angel. Gentleness certainly describes Grandbaby#3.  She loves me singing to her. Nanny just loves every moment with her.

I love the rocking chair effect.

I was born to be a  “Nanny” a Newfoundland endearing term for grandmother.

4 of us Together – we love watching Ferdinand the Bull on my laptop.

We are all responsible to keep all children safe; Let’s do it together shall we?

Pertinent Quotes:

Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children. ~ Charles (Chuck) Swindoll

What a grandmother says and sings to her grandbabies they will remember forever. Me

There’s no place like home . . . except Grandmas!

Surely, two of the most satisfying experiences in life must be those of being a grandchild or a grandparent. ~Donald A. Norber

I have already started my 30 Days of Thankfulness but I would like to share those thoughts from that challenge right here on my blog.

This was my Day 1 of the 30 Days of Thankfulness Challenge.

Day 1- I am thankful today for my Husband.
He is a devoted Godly man who makes a lot of mistakes.
He is against abortion [under normal circumstances] and is against drinking alcohol but is very respectful of women. I am always impressed by his kindness, willingness to be helpful to others. Because of the depth of determination that is inherent in his character it gets us through the tough times that life throws our way.

He loves to fish and enjoys sports and nature. He has many strengths one of which is his dedication and always been a hands-on-dad. A very hard worker is he.  My hubby is honest, humorous, forthright and a man of integrity. He is also a handsome balding man. 😀

He knows how much I hate to [gas up] so every weekend he fills up my car. He opens a door for me to walk through and lifts heavy things for me…I like chivalry.

A happy marriage is the union of two good forgivers.  Robert Quillen

LOVE

What is love?  The short list.

  • emotion
  • affection
  • affirmation
  • virtue representing human kindness, compassion
  • actions toward others
  • compassionate
  • consideration
  • communication
  • forgiveness
  • gateway
  • gracious
  • sacrifice
  • honor
  • laughter
  • pay it forward
  • personal attachment
  • present- in the moment
  • respect
  • sexual
  • not envious
  • not abusive
  • not angry
  • not selfish
  • not hurtful
  • not compromising

Here are a few quotes highlighting love:

Jonathan Edwards said, “Love is the sum of all virtue, and love disposes us to good.”

Mother Teresa said, “The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread.”

“If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered.” – Proverbs

The strength of love is shown in great things; the tenderness of love in little things.”  Robert C. Chapman

Today I want to be  a prompt and a reminder that love and appreciation is very important. It is true our feelings come and go and we oft’ become disoriented in life. Anytime we are side tracked we can find our way back by looking at the perfect example of God’s love.  He invented love.

Like a lot of other things, love can be enjoyed or abused. Casual or appreciated. Genuine love is an unconditional, sacrificial, kind, caring, faithful, expressive, mature, compassionate, respectful, lifelong commitment. If we say we are Christian and do not love then we do not know truth but have become a liar.

Love is not supposed to be painful. A lot of people misrepresent the Bible and say we have to be obedient to husbands at any cost. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that. Peter did say that wives should respect the authority of their husbands in order to promote harmony within the family; as well as to submit to one another in mutual respect. What the Bible is not suggesting is for wives to become doormats nor feel inferior. If you are an abusive person, please seek help now. Don’t wait until you’ve made a terrible mistake that you will never be able to correct. If you are being abused, please talk to someone you can trust, whether it be a family member, a counselor, a friend, a pastor, a teacher or a doctor. Don’t delay.

Love should be at the forefront of everything that you and I do. Without love, our speaking and doing is noise! Let’s focus on kindness and goodness .

I encourage you to work on your relationships. My prayer for you is a complete, safe and happy relationship.

This week take time to read the entire book of the Song of Solomon.[check the end of this blog to direct you the site] The focus of Song of Solomon/Songs is not progeny but of passion. “Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—for your love is more delightful than wine.”

Do you still get the butterflies when you think of your love? Romantic and sexual  love is an incredible gift from God so don’t give it to just anyone and it will be a wonderful, worthwhile adventure.

You are free to believe as you wish but for me I follow God’s word, the Bible. God wants us to be blessed in love within the context of the marriage. I believe God wants to us to wait for marriage to express sexual love.

At an early age; I envisioned being in a marriage relationship, where there is no shame or bashfulness. You can express every physical desire and have a deep, expressive, loving, wonderful relationship. Ahh  here you can share your hearts, your dreams, your goals, your strengths, your weaknesses, your present, your futures, and your bodies together and without shame!

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. [Romans 12:1-2]

I hope you make time to have a love relationship with your partner, family and with God.

His Rose

A rose
Pink yellow white red or blue
Reminds me of you
Gently takes the thorn
From my skin
Silk and scent
Takes me to the place
Where we spent
Love’s first passionate kiss
Perfection
Is your silhouette
My love is greater
Than ten thousand red
Not a blast of hurry
Stayed on love and bliss
Set free
Unending love forever mine
Like the petals fold
My heart in thankful prayer
Inhale again aroma sweet
Your beauty smile and living
In celebration
Nothing says
I love you
Like His single rose of June
